Sensei Yamazaki was assisted by Sensei George Braynen, from the Bahamas. They taught various seminars regarding Shiteigata (mandatory forms for all Karate styles). The seminars were very interesting and the information will be useful for future competitions. The seminars were conducted very professionally, within a relaxed atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect. Upon completion of the seminars everyone enjoyed a personal satisfaction regarding the knowledge shared and attained. The group expressed interest regarding future seminars with Sensei Yamazaki and his peers.

We were also recently visited by Shihan, Ignacio D. Arias from Rhode Island, USA. Shihan Arias came to Miami to teach a seminar regarding referee rules and arbitration. Shihan Arias style is Niho Koden Shindo Ryu Karate-Do. He conducted himself in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. Shihan Arias is easy going, friendly and a highly motivated individual within the Martial Arts field. This is the first step of what we hope to be a fruitful relationship between our Joshinmon and the Nihon Koden Shindo Ryu Karate-Do style. We are very greatful to Sensei Arias for his visit and hope to see him back soon.
